Throughout the many years of cooperation with KYOS and its founders it’s been a distinct pleasure to work with experts not only meeting expectations but also exceeding them on an ongoing basis. We started working together in 2006 while I was head of analytics and models at Vattenfall. During that time, we worked closely together on power plant valuation and hedging models as well as market model simulations. We also used KYOS models in gas storage and gas swing.
After my move to Dong Energy in 2011, as Director and Head of the Quantitative Analytics department, KYOS was very supportive in getting a power plant valuation model up and running for an imminent power plant divestment in the UK.
As CEO of Global Commodity Partners I am looking forward to continue working with KYOS. In my opinion they are a top vendor of sophisticated yet easy-to-use energy market models. They have a great team of dedicated professionals, working in the intersection of financial and mathematical modelling, who also provide excellent consulting. I very much enjoy our discussions on the challenges we face in energy markets.
